AIDS Walk Washington
October 2nd 9am. We have a team! Sign up with us by visiting www.AIDSWalkWashington.org and searching for the team “New Covenant MCC.” Registration is $25. If you cannot walk yourself, please consider giving a donation on our team page. All proceeds go to HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services in the DC metro area.
Inquirer’s Class
On a Saturday afternoon in September, Rev. Brian will be leading an Inquirer’s Class. This class is for those who want to know about the history, beliefs, and vision of MCC- both locally and worldwide. This class is required for church membership but attendees are not expected/pressured to join. Sign up on the sign-up sheet in the fellowship hall or email Rev. Brian if you are interested.Church Size Summit
October 1-2. This summit will be led by our MCC denominational staff. It is designed to help the local church understand how it works and how it can grow. If you are in leadership with NCMCC, please consider registering. If you do not feel called to register, please fill out this survey. (Please keep in mind: this survey is for members, friends, and regular attendees of New Covenant MCC. Its results will be used to determine how our church can grow and live up to its potential.)
Revive!
New Covenant MCC is excited to announce our new Sunday worship service: Revive! Revive services include many of the elements of our traditional blended worship such as Holy Communion, the Message, and Intercessory Prayers, but will also include Praise & Worship music, candlelight prayer in the Taize style, guided and individual meditation, anointing, personal prayer, lectio divina, and artistic expression. Revive services will occur every first and third Sunday (and some fifth Sundays). We welcome all to join in this fresh, Spirit-filled worship experience. We look forward to your participation!
