Worship Information
Our typical service starts at 6:30 PM, and ends at around 7:30 PM, though services with special events may run slightly longer.
We worship on Sunday nights at 6:30 pm in two forms.
On first and third Sundays of the month, our paperless “Revive” services include praise & worship music, lectio divina “holy readings”, Taize-style candlelight prayer, prayer partners, and meditation.
On second and fourth Sundays, we worship with bulletins and hymnals in a “blended traditional” style, which reflects many common elements of mainline Christian services.
At all services, we celebrate an open Holy Communion where we meet the Spirit of Christ in a holy meal of bread and juice. All are welcome to receive the elements, which are a sign of God’s free gift of grace and unconditional love for us.
We use inclusive language in our singing and prayers to acknowledge our many understandings of God as Mother/Father/Creator/Spirit (and beyond) as represented in the biblical record, in church history, and in our own life experience. We also attempt to make our worship accessible and enjoyable for all, especially for those who have not been in worship for many years, or ever.
