Transitional Pastor Chosen
New Covenant MCC has chosen Reverend Tim Agar as our transitional pastor. He will serve for a period of twelve to fifteen months, until a permanent pastor is chosen.
Meet the Candidate Weekend
On behalf of the Pastoral Search Committee, we have some great news to share about our pastoral search efforts! After a lot of hard work over the past year by the Pastoral Search Committee, we're very excited to present a candidate to the congregation on the weekend of August 29th and 30th.
For your convenience, we have arranged the following opportunities for you to meet the candidate:
Bible Study Lesson
Date: Saturday, August 29th
Time: 3:00pm
This will be a bible study lesson that will last less than an hour. We'll have an opportunity after the lesson for questions and answers with the candidate.
Location: Patty and Mike Glasgow's home in Columbia, MD. Directions will be provided upon request and will be on the information table at Church.
Dinner Out With the Candidate
Date: Saturday, August 29th
Time: 6:00pm
Social dinner at an all-you-can eat Chinese buffet for $11.95 per person to give everyone a chance to socialize with the candidate.

Potluck Social
Date: Sunday, August 30th
Time: 4:30pm - 6:00pm
This potluck will give us a chance to socialize with the candidate. We most likely will have the chance for questions and answers.

Regular Worship Service
Date: Sunday, August 30th
Time: 6:30pm
This is our regular evening Worship service when the candidate will be preaching.

Congregational Meeting and After Service Hospitality
Date: Sunday, August 30th
Time: 7:30pm - 8:00pm
Starting immediately after Worship service will be a Congregational Meeting. During the Congregational Meeting, we'll vote on whether to hire the candidate as our next pastor of New Covenant MCC. Please note that only church members can vote (so we need ALL members to attend), but we encourage all friends and guests to join us! We'll have our regular after service hospitality as well.
